CII-ITC COMMENDS HINDUSTAN ZINC FOR CSR INITIATIVES - CII-ITC SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS 2014

The CSR of Hindustan Zinc has done it once again. This time by winning “CII-ITC Sustainability Commendation-2014 is Corporate Social Responsibility category”. The event was organized in New Delhi on 19^th December 2014. Shri Prakash Javadekar - Hon’ble Union Minister for Environment and Forest was the Chief Guest and the award was presented by Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi – Hon’ble Member of Parliament. Mr. Y.C. Deveshwar - Chairman, ITC and  Mr. Chandrajit Banerjeee - Director General, CII were also present on the dais.

 

On behalf of Hindustan Zinc, the Commendation was received by Ms. Sushma Sharma - Head CSR and Ms. Monica Jain - Executive CSR.

CII ITC SUSTAINABILITY AWARD - 2014 TO HINDUSTAN ZINC

Hindustan Zinc received yet another accolade, the "CII ITC Sustainability Award 2014- Outstanding accomplishment" under the Corporate Excellence, in a glittering function organized in New Delhi. The award was given by Shri Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Union Minister for Environment & Forest.  Also present on the dais were Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi – Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Mr. YC Deveshwar, Chairman, ITC and  Mr. Chandrajit Banerjeee, Director General, CII.

On behalf of Hindustan Zinc, the "CII ITC Sustainability Award 2014- Outstanding accomplishment" was received by Mr. Mahesh Todkar – Unit Head (Unit-1), Mr. M.K. Yadav – Head Environment and Mr. Hitendra Bhuptawat - Manager IMS & Sustainability, all from Chanderiya Zinc-Lead Smelter.
