Drop-Out Youths Training in Rajasthan by HZL
8000 rural youths to be covered in 5 years in Rajasthan

It is known fact, if one needs to bring prosperity and development in villages then there has to be a 360 degree approach. On one side infrastructure needs are to be addressed and on the other side the village society too needs up-liftment. This up-liftment referring to society has many definitions - women empowerment, training to rural youth for self employment, education to children, nutrition to children, adult education to name a few. It is important to make them self-reliant rather than dependent.

Hindustan Zinc, in association with Government of India and IL&FS has introduced a state level youth training program in Rajasthan which would cover about 8,000 rural youth in 5 years in the district Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara and Rajsamand.

Most of these youth are drop-outs and skill based vocational training has transformed their lives.
